Wan Animate creates a new video by combining the identity and appearance from a source image with the movement and timing from a reference video. It is designed for character performance transfer, presenter animation, dance and gesture recreation, and other workflows where a still subject should follow an existing performance. The output duration follows the reference video. Wan Animate supports 480p and 720p output, an optional text prompt, and reproducible seeds. In GENGEN, it uses the shared Wan video task endpoint and returns wananimate:<remote_id> public task IDs.
