# Veo 3.1

> Google Veo video generation with optional synchronized audio.

Generate videos from text or first and last frames. Standard and Fast also accept up to three subject reference images.

Video extension is available through the API only and adds seven seconds. Reference-image generation requires eight seconds.

Inputs accept HTTPS URLs or authorized gs\:// object URIs. Outputs are temporary HTTPS URLs; retrieve the task to renew an unexpired video link.
