# Nano Banana 2.1

> Generate and edit images with up to 14 reference images and output up to 4K.

Nano Banana 2.1 supports text-to-image generation and reference-image editing with 1K, 2K, and 4K output.

Use up to 14 reference images. Thinking supports MINIMAL, MEDIUM (default), and HIGH through `providerOptions.google.generationConfig.thinkingConfig.thinkingLevel`.

The image endpoint accepts text and reference images. Video input, search grounding, and multi-turn editing are not exposed by this endpoint.

Seed, temperature, topP, topK, and logprobs are not supported. Output images use the standard 24-hour URL retention.
